Justin Bieber made a highly anticipated return to the Coachella music festival, performing as a headliner for the first time in four years due to health issues that led to the cancellation of his Justice world tour.

During his nostalgic Saturday night performance, Bieber primarily sat in front of a laptop, singing along to YouTube music videos of his iconic hits like “Baby” and “Never Say Never,” engaging the audience by pulling up old home videos that highlighted his rise to fame at age 12.

He also interacted with live comments from the YouTube stream, asking the crowd how far back they could recall his music.

The set showcased tracks from his 2025 albums “Swag” and “Swag II” and included guest appearances from artists such as The Kid Laroi and Wizkid.

Dressed casually in a hoodie and shorts, Bieber’s performance contrasted sharply with Sabrina Carpenter’s elaborate production from the previous night.

The Coachella festival, attracting over 100,000 attendees daily, continues to feature prominent acts, with Colombian pop star Karol G slated to headline the following day.

Bieber’s return comes after a challenging period marked by his diagnosis of Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which caused facial paralysis.
